In life there's always a reason why do we get attached to something. And I wonder why some people attached to gambling. If there are some tactics they put on casino so that people may attached to it and become addicted to it.
But every Gambler has a different reason why they get addicted in gambling. Maybe because they want to get the jackpot price so they just keep on betting and trusting their own luck. But did they ever think that when they bet they might lose all their money.
While I was surfing the net I came across an article that talks about Why do people become addicted to Gambling the author states the different reasons why people become addicted to gambling. The author gives 4 reasons these are; The Illusion of being able to control chance, The lure of the Jackpot, Gambling Fever, The belief their luck will change.
The author gives the exact reason why do people become addicted to gambling. And the casino's or other gambling event will use these idea for them to gain more subscribers or for the gamblers to patronize them.

HW1: Background of Survey
After weeks of researching about Gambling, I learned different things about gambling. Like the different types of gamblers, the good and bad effect of it. And why some people look at it as a bad habit. But there are some questions on my mind that haven't answered yet.
To be able to come-up with my research paper I need to survey some questions to know the different opinions of other people. And I prepare some survey questions to be answered.
My survey would be answer by different kind of person in the society, it is good to know their age and gender.Next I would like to ask them what is their stand in gambling, if they are pro or anti. And then, if they are Gamblers or if they have friends who are engaged in gambling addiction and how many of them. I would also want to know if they believed that there's a cheat in gambling. And if they have plans to stop from being Compulsive Gamblers. I also need to know what are the different games in Gambling, and what particular game they are addicted to. From being a Compulsive Gambler, I would also want to know if they encountered some problems caused by Gambling, and what are those problems. And I would like them to give some advice or suggestion to the Compulsive Gamblers. And Lastly, I would like to know if they think that Filipinos are more prone to Gambling Addiction rather than other nationality, and why do they think if they're answer is yes or no.
This survey will be answer by different people in the society, to know their stand in Gambling, And to know if majority of them are male or female. Also to know their age. If this survey will be given to them, I think most of their answers would be the same. And I think that most of them will have a lot of answer in the question, What are the different Gambling event/games here in the Philippines?

Ways to stop Gambling Addiction
Almost all of the gamblers when you ask them if they want to stop their addiction in gambling, they will probably answer that NO I will not stop gambling, because it gives me the things that I want. But they never notice if they continue gambling they might lost their loved ones, a lot of money and they might get insane.
There are some ways to stop gambling. But those steps are not easy to follow. Because a compulsive gambler do not want to stop their vices. For them to have a better life they should now stop or lessen their addiction to it.
While I was surfing the net I came up to an article entitled Gambling Addiction:10 Ways To Stop Gambling Before It Is Too Late. It discusses the different ways to stop gambling, and the author says as a lesson
"Overall, gambling addiction is one of the hardest addictions to beat. It is also one of the most dangerous, because of the high suicide rate with this horrible affliction.
If you or a loved one has a gambling problem, try to quit gambling now. When you stop gambling, your life will improve, and you will reclaim your life that you once had before."
The author is correct that when you stop gambling your life will improve, because you will not be stressed anymore about your debts, your bad beats during the game. Also you will be closed to your loved ones, and you will have more time to see the beautiful points of view of life. That it's not all about gambling.

Studies shows that people do gamble it’s because of; feeling lucky, to have

of impulse-control disorder.
An Article states that “Compulsive gamblers can’t control the
impulse to gamble, even when they know their gambling is hurting themselves or
their loved ones. Gambling is all they can think about and all they want to do,

When a person gets addicted into
gambling, no one can stop him. The only person can help him to avoid gambling
is himself. By the time, this person realize that he is doing things beyond his
power he will probably stop doing it. But the right thing to avoid it is first,
to lessen playing/betting in a particular game. And after 3 weeks he can now
stop doing it.

Intellectual Skills
Most of the Poker players have different specialties, on the game they play that will make their best hand. Compare to other games, poker is one of the casino games that will need your intellectual skills. I can say that this game is not based on your luck, it is based on the way how you play it, by having some techniques to beat your opponent.
You can have different techniques with this game, other players bluffing each other because it's part of their technique. Maybe some of them may offend others with the way they play, but it's normal their strategy is allowed because they do not cheat. You just need to practice what they called "poker face" for you to master this kind of technique.
While I was surfing the net I found an article that talks about being expert in the game Poker. It is entitled Becoming a Specialist in POKERBLOG the author says that "The easiest way to decide what type of specialist you want to be is to just be realistic about what type of poker is your strongest. If you’re already crushing single-table tournaments, then continue to work your craft until you hit the upper peaks of competitive play. Likewise for anyone who really only gets motivated by playing nosebleed
ring games."
In poker there are different types of game, you can buy-in to a tournament style or the cash game style. You need to choose your specialty so that you can enhance your intellectual skills with this type of game. Because there's a big difference with that kind of game. The tournament style is the tougher game than cash game style. Because in tournament style you only given a certain amount of chips and if you lose, you can never bring back what you have lost. But in cash game style it's easy to bluff and to have a decision in every game because you can buy-in again if you have lose.
The author also says that "As you absorb new information, put it into play in actual games and then go back and review what went right and wrong. Do this and you’ll be treating poker with a whole new level of respect and dedication that most are unable to achieve, and that’s when you’ll know that your specialist reputation is well deserved."
In this kind of game, your intellectual skill will be enhance and you are not relying on your luck. Maybe it's a combined luck and intellectual skill.

Is it really a matter of LUCK?
We all know the roulette game, and most of us think that its just a matter of luck, when you play it. Because you just bet for the number you predict that would come out. But did you ever think that there's a scientific study about this game?
When I am in high school, I had a subject Physics and it studies about matter. In line with that, I was thinking about the game roulette. Because I know that science can explain the possible outcome in roulette. And I am confused if this game is really a matter of luck?
While I was surfing the net, I came across an article entitled Roulette Better spills physics behind victory it talks about that in a roulette game they can measure the bounce of the ball and what would come out as a result.
The Author states that "Using a subtle counting device similar to Farmer's, the pair was able to predict in which half of the wheel the ball would fall in 13 out of 22 trials. In three trials, the model predicted the exact pocket. That is equivalent to taking the odds from 2.7 per cent in the house's favour (on European roulette wheels) to 18 per cent in the player's favour. That is a very small number of trials, so they then confirmed their technique via 700 trials using an automated camera system, which would be too conspicuous to use in a casino (arxiv.org/abs/1204.6412)."
With that percentage given, we can say that its not a matter of luck, because there's an alternative way to know what possible outcome would come out. But as a Gambler they just use their luck in every bet they made, because it takes time to know the technique behind that game.
The author also says that "Farmer says Small and Tse's model is very similar to his own, except that they assume that the main force slowing the ball down is friction with the rim, whereas he found that it is air resistance." When I read this part of his article, I was thinking about the cheats in casino because of air resistance they can control the possible outcome in a game.
For me, this theory is not applicable to all of the gamblers. Because there's a possibility that other casino will cheat on the players. So even if you know how to compute for the possible outcome that would come out there's a big probability that you predict the wrong one, so it's better for you to depend on your luck with this kind of game.

The Conditions
Most of us think that gambling is an addicting game. But gamblers see
it in different ways. If others think that it only give you stress and a
lot of debts, for them its opposite. For me, they can say that its
opposite because they love what they're doing and no one can stop them.
It feels like they are so in love in a person, and they cannot see the
negative side of it.
While I was surfing the net I came across an article that talks about the rewards of gambling, entitled The Effects of Gambling. The author says I gamble because:
Also gambling has a lot of negative issues, and because of that some of the family members of a gambler or loved ones make it a point that they wanted their loved ones to stop gambling. And it becomes the problem that gambling give to a family. In the article I've read the author also gives some negative effects of gambling. and these are the following:
